Leicester Westleigh Junior Tournament 2010, 15th May

The tournament will be held at St Margaret’s Pastures Leicester on the 15th May.

The programme will be as follows:

• AM: 9:30 - 13.30
  • U10 MIXED (No goal keepers)
  • U14 GIRLS
  • U14 BOYS
• PM: 13.30 – 17.30
  • U18 BOYS
  • U16 GIRLS

Game times will be confirmed once all teams are in. We do have 2 Astro Pitches booked so games will be a good length.

Teams will be 7-a-side, playing on half pitches. Squads of up to 10 are allowed.

• No boys may play in girl’s games but girls may play in boys’ matches.
• Ages are for the year and under following EHA guidelines. It is a friendly tournament so common sense and fair play please.

We will have some junior umpires available, but please could each team provide an umpire. Normal mini-hockey rules apply.

I am hoping to have a sports photographer at the tournament; players will be able to purchase action / team photos. They are fully CRB checked.

Cost of entry per team is £20.

There will be awards for each section winners and a Fair Play Award for each section based on performance of players, coaches and spectators for each team.

Hot and cold food will be available for purchase throughout the day.
