Westleigh were in the U12s County round for there second year. But this year after beating Beeston in the U10s last year they had not just the ability but the mindset.

Westleigh started with arch rivals Leicester this ended 1-1. Next Market Harborough , a spirited team, but Westleigh put in a great effort and won 4- 0 .

So with goal difference Leicester went through as top of the group with us in second.

The semis arrived and Westleigh were to face Ashby, the team we feared but also wanted to beat. The game went to flicks and Finaly took the pressure, shooting low and sending Westleigh through to the final match

So the final Leicester v Westleigh again. Leicester started quick but the defence of Nicholas and Zach stood firm much to the delight of umpire Dad. Westleigh then took charge of the game but failed to score the final goal. It was a real shame with such talent on the on the pitch. The final was decided on flicks as well. This time the luck was with Leicester. They won doing simple things well.

Getting through to the final means we are through to the regional finals at Beeston in May. Hope to see some supporters to see us compete.
