It was the wettest of days at Fortress EM. With the wind blowing sideways, we knew communication through the side would be tough. However, no matter the conditions, Damo’s whining was still prevalent.

First half, saw the mighty 1s take control seeing some great play from the back into midfield and the strikers doing the job up top which meant we walked into the half time oranges at 3-0.

Second half saw the usual Westleigh slump from the 50th minute seeing two quick fire goals from Loughborough’s silver fox. Worrying wasn’t in our vocabulary as we finally got down the other end to put the game to bed.

Man of the match - Ali. Without a doubt his saves kept us well in control. Bonus that he put the silver fox 4 foot in the air on yet another save.

Dick of the day - David Wimbury. We play in blue mate.
