A winning Westleigh weekend to remember for the Woolley's!
A long trip down the M1 to Towcestrians for the mens 2 squad, it was a late pushback and the weather was miserable all day. It didn't take long for Westleigh to take the lead through a Wimbury goal assisted by Tratt. Woolley snr (aka El Pres) was proving to be a rock in front of an injured Milligan at CB, Woolley was running the show in CM rolling back the years displaying a fine range of ball pace and passing. The second goal came from a quick turnover which led to Tinson slipping the ball to Tratt who somehow scored from the tightest of angles. Westleigh didn't back off in the second half, young Ewan Woolley was holding his own on debut for the 2's and was inolved in some nice link up play on the right. The 3rd goal came from a Woolley snr strongly swept ball from 25m out which was perfectly met at the back post by Zach Woolley to deflect in. The game was all but over, there was time for one more goal from a PC. Tinson slipped right to Feguson who slapped home the 4th. The first clean sheet of the season ensured a convincing 4-0 win.
