Under 8s Brilliant again!

The Westleigh Under 8s were at yet another tournament last weekend. This time it was hosted at Ratcliffe College. After a slow start in their first game against Ashby the team soon got fired up and started banging in the goals! Throughout the tournament, the team play and passing certainly improved. With Mollie, Darcy and Nathan getting forwards and getting lots of Goals and Emmet getting stuck in with his tackling, Westleigh went on to beat both Loughborough Town teams and Loughborough Carillion. A special shoutout to Alex Sibson on his Under 8s debut! He really grew into the tournament and made a big impact with his speed and tackling. Fun was had by all and it was great to see so many smiling faces on a hockey pitch!
