Westleigh keep winning

After an impressive start to the season winning their first 4 games Westleigh 1st XI were up against Coalville, who were just a mere 3 points behind. After a sloppy first 3 minutes or so with Westleigh giving possession up easily they soon found their groove. With some fantastic forward play from Simon James and Damon Fleming a flurry of goals came in a short amount of time. They linked up brilliantly assisting one another with really unselfish play in front of goal. Soon Westleigh were 5-0 up. With C. Price providing forward runs from midfield he soon added another goal from the top of the D. Before half time yet another goal was slotted in by D. Fleming. Just before half time C. Price was given a well deserved yellow card for almost breaking the opposing players stick in 2. After half time Westleigh kept the pressure on with some great team play. D. Fleming added yet another goal with a nice assist from C. Price. S. James then slotted another home with a great ball in from J. Noon (C. Price was very lucky to get away with DOD for trying to pinch this goal on the line). To finish the scoring C. Price scored a great goal from a short corner. The final score was 10-0!
